Today we’re starting a month of promotion of supplementary schools and the wonderful people who set them up, the teachers, volunteers, management committee members and parents.
Supplementary school leaders know how crucial it is for young people to be grounded; to know where they’re from, their heritage, be able to communicate with others. They are proud of country of origin AND proud to live and work in Britain eg. Esat, Nene Tereza Supplementary Sch pic.twitter.com/iitxOz2vIg— NRCSE (@SupplementaryEd) March 30, 2020
By teaching children to read/write in Albanian, Nene Tereza ensures that families grow together, grandchildren can stay in touch with grandparents and roots. Something we are all realising the importance of now #COVID19 Thank you Esat @revkollektiv @UNICEFEducation #NHSThankYou pic.twitter.com/WGzFlwdjyK— NRCSE (@SupplementaryEd) March 30, 2020
