NRCSE Conference 2022

May 17, 2022 By nikitajoshi Leave a Comment

The NRCSE Supplementary Schools Conference called “Creativity, Youth Voice and Awards” was held on 24 March at Resource for London where 80 participants joined online and in person! It was a fantastic day where we celebrated the achievements of supplementary schools and shared our learning.

There were some great presentations from a few supplementary schools who shared the work they’ve been doing, including how they have implemented our Creative Teaching and Learning Project and Children’s rights training in their schools. Thank you to Clube dos Brasileirinhos , Latin American House , Rustam School and Shoqata Ardhmëria UK.

Participants were also able to attend a workshop taster session of our Creative Teaching and Learning Project with Patrice Baldwin or our Children’s Rights Training in partnership with UNICEF UK.

During the day, we were also able to celebrate the schools who have worked hard and recently have achieved their Quality Mark Award, as well as during the pandemic!

It was great to be together after so long and celebrate the amazing people and work done in the sector. If you weren’t able to join us, we hope to see you at our next event!

What Supplementary Schools tell about us

I really enjoyed the way this training was held. Angela really knows a lot of things about class management – she was open to discussion and answered our questions. I would like to take part in more similar trainings. It would be useful if more community schools get involved in this type of training.
