Training for new mentors

Please contact Dr Mon Partovi

• Day 1 This prepares people to support supplementary schools to put necessary policies and procedures in place in order to achieve the Foundation Quality Mark. Day 1 also prepares mentors to visit supplementary schools and discuss with management committee members, staff and parents what is their understanding of safe practice.
• Day 2 Focuses on support schools through the Advanced Quality Mark recognition process. Upon successful completion of both mentor training days and moderation of support to a school completing the Quality Mark process, mentors can apply to join NRCSE’s list of recommended quality assurance mentors.

Mentors and supplementary schools have access to the online self-assessment tool as well as over 100 downloadable resources that they can refer to about any areas that are unfamiliar to them. YPF Trust | centre for supplementary education organises training for supplementary schools to support safe practice, good management and the Quality Mark, this can be arranged regionally.
