Visit http://ukcommunityfoundations.org/ to find local funding. On Saturday I heard about the Luton Airport Fund (see below). Community Foundations around the country manage these local funds, often corporate giving from big companies in your area.
London Luton Airport Ltd – Community Awards Fund
There are two funds under this scheme, one for the Luton Borough Council area
and one for its near neigbours (to the south, south west and north east of the
Airport). Each has its own criteria leaflet.

London Luton Airport Ltd – Youth Services Fund
This new fund was launched on 28th June 2013 in partnership with
London Luton Airport Ltd., Luton Borough Council's Prevention and Early
Intervention Team and Luton Youth Network. It is aimed at supporting young
people aged between 11 and 19 (or 25 if disabled) across Luton. Bids will be
assessed by a new panel made up of adults and young people from Luton. All successful applicants will be expected to use the Outcome Star method of
