Dear supplementary schools and interested individuals,
We are transferring to a new website, the address will be the same, but we won’t transfer your details unless you tell us to.
NRCSE has come a long way since its establishment as an independent charity in October 2012.
We have developed a wide range of online tools and support; campaigned hard within government and across regions for recognition of the excellent work being done by community-led organisations to provide additional educational opportunities for children; successfully campaigned for ALL the existing language exams to be retained under the new examination criteria; supported new partnerships with universities, arts & heritage organisations (Bradford University, British Academy, British Museum, British Film Institute, British Library, Goldsmith’s London University, Institute of Education, London Metropolitan University, Museum of London, IntoUniversity, Manchester Metropolitan University, Oxford Brookes University, York University, John Moores Liverpool University, University of West London – to name but a few).
We have facilitated opportunities for supplementary schools to present their work and demonstrate their importance. We have made a number of films with the support of The Media Trust and others. We have tweeted and retweeted good news, we have Facebook posted and liked stories about how hard you all work.
We have provided nationally accredited training to over 370 teachers with many more management committee members and volunteers taking part in our one-day workshops and training.
And not forgetting the Quality Framework for Supplementary Schools. 184 schools currently hold a Quality Framework Award. We know how hard you work to achieve these, especially in a climate of reduced support and funding from local authorities and other agencies. Congratulations!
So – I hope you have enjoyed being part of NRCSE. We have built a new website which is clearer, works better on mobile devices and tablets. If you want to continue receiving posts, information about funding opportunities, details about training, etc. we need you to tell us.
Reply to this email, saying either:

If we don’t hear from you your details will be removed.
Best wishes,
Pascale Vassie
Executive Director NRCSE
