Funding for education
Funds for work that is considered to be part of mainstream education, including equipment is considered by many funding agencies to be the responsibility of Government and as such not eligible.
Schools may not be eligible for funds that their partner organisations, in many cases, may be entitled to. These include Parents Associations, Friends of the School, and those organising Out of School or Preschool activities, including supplementary schools.
Schools may well also have funds available within their own budgets for extra curricular activities involving their pupils. So they could match fund a joint bid, for example.
Look at this excellent website for educational projects in partnership with mainstream schools. Do some research and make a partnership proposal to a local school.
