Final session for Northamtonshire teachers
Fourteen supplementary school teachers from 12 Northamptonshire supplementary schools yesterday celebrated their final session on the Effective Teaching Skills course.
Attendance on the nine week course has been good and all the teachers gave presentations about their school and a microteach to their peers.

The supplementary schools represented included: Corby Lithuanian School ‘Vaivorykste’, ‘Spriditis’ Latvian Supplementary School, Northampton Lithuanian Supplementary School ‘ABC’, Northampton Gujarati School, Northampton Punjabi School, Northampton Arabic School, Polish Saturday School in Wellingborough, the Russian School of Northampton, Polish Saturday School Northampton, WDHA Gujarati School Wellingborough, Polish Saturday School Kettering, Ghanian Amalgamation Supplementary School.
The teachers thanked Ute Nannini, development officer at the Association of Northamptonshire Supplementary Schools, for her tremendous work raising the funds for this course; and Sarvat Ujra, NRCSE tutor.
