Outreach ‘Object Explorer’ sessions (September-November)
Would you like us to bring a piece of the museum to your school? We are offering a series of outreach visits to supplementary schools from September-November 2015. These hour long sessions will introduce the Museum of London to your students, offer opportunities to handle objects from our collection and take part in interactive activities. These visits offer brilliant opportunities for staff, students and their families to learn more about the museum.
If you are interested in booking an outreach visit please get in touch and email etaylor@museumoflondon.org.uk for more information.
Sessions will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note that we can only deliver to up to 30 students at a time but can lead multiple sessions during the day.

Summer activities!
The Museum of London would like to work with supplementary schools and their families to find out what sort of activities and special events you would like to be included in the programme. With this in mind a set of summer activities will be provided for families to take part in. There will be a selection of activities on offer ranging from workshops for early years groups (3-5 year olds), gallery activities, walking tours around the city and object handling. Families will have a chance to take part in activities and then offer feedback about ways we can adapt them.
This is your chance to tell us what you like, what you don’t like and put a mark on the programme right from the beginning while taking part in free activities over the summer!
These activities will take place in August. More details to follow!

Would your students like to Take Over the Museum? The museum will be providing an opportunity for 20-25 students from a range of supplementary schools to take part in a project to create interactive and unconventional gallery tours to lead throughout the weekend inspired by sounds of the city! This project will be run over a number of weeks and be open to young people between the ages of 13-19.
