2013-14 saw a huge increase in the number of supplementary school teachers, students and families engaging with the British Museum. We would like to thank the 60 plus supplementary schools from across London and the UK who have supported the programme and made it such a success.
What’s next? Upcoming activity in May and June 2014. There are lots of events, activities and opportunities coming up in the next few months so please do get involved..!

Monday 19th May Deadline for all submissions to our Exploring Objects/Sharing Cultures Project
Have you got an idea for a performance, artwork or workshop? We are looking for 3 supplementary schools to work with us and a team of professional artists and performers on a project which will culminate in a performance or display at our next Supplementary Schools & Families Activity Weekend. Sunday 22nd June Connecting Cultures: Exploring Objects and Collections
We are repeating our popular 1 day training sessions for supplementary school teachers. Join us to learn how to develop your own visits to the British Museum based on subjects relevant to your students and discover how to lead activities using objects, opinions and cross-cultural links.
