CLEx and NRCSE take Data Protection very seriously and will only use your data for the use of registration and communication regarding exams and post exam information. No data will be transferred or given to any other parties, other than those stated below for the purpose of your exam registration. Your personal data (name, date of birth, gender) will be transferred to the exam board for the purpose of examining and awarding qualifications, and that such personal data, together with the examination results and outcomes of any reviews of marking, reviews of moderation and appeals may be shared within the consortium or CLEx/NRCSE. Your personal data provided on this registration form will be kept on file for a minimum of 24 months form the date of signature – after this time your personal data will be destroyed. You can ask for your data to be withdrawn at any time by completing our Withdrawal Consent Form. Once we have received your request, we aim to complete your withdrawal process within 7 working days. Please be aware, that withdrawal of consent could impact on CLEx processing your data in accordance to exam requirements and therefore could impact on you taking your exam.

On receiving certificates to the Centre, you will be informed within 3 working days. It is your responsibility to collect certificates, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed. CLEx and NRCSE take no responsibility for any posted lost certificates – All certificates are posted Special Delivery. Certificates will be kept under secure conditions for a minimum of 12 months from the date of issue. If certificates are not claimed within the 12-month period, they will either be destroyed or sent back to the appropriate awarding body. Please be aware that some awarding bodies do not offer a replacement certificate service. In such circumstances the awarding body will issue a Certifying Statement of Results at an additional cost

As a private candidate you have the responsibility to ensure that you fill in the form correctly. CLEx cannot be held responsible for mistakes in your entry form. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the rules of examinations and certificates issued by the examining board. These are always available on the examination board’s websites. Collection of Certificate – ALL Certificates MUST be collected from CLEx unless there is a prior agreement (please state) CLEx takes no responsibility for lost or damaged certificates as a result of postage. Document Checklist Please ensure you are able to provide evidence / documentation of ID · Photographic ID (photocopy of passport or driving license card) or a photocopy of your birth certificate. We will request to see the originals on the day of your first exam. These can be scanned or posted.
