Celebration of achievement with Haringey Muslim Network

Wonderful evening at London Islamic Cultural Centre, Wightman Road Mosque, celebrating the achievement of Madrasah teachers and management.

Twelve weeks of training for 14 teachers from Foysol, Wasim, Ayesha ICC, Ghana Muslim Welfare and Al Najah Madrassah and parallel classes for 10 management committee members, with tutors Farooq Mulla, Angela Bell, and additional contribution from Leon Joseph, Pascale Vassie, Ertanch Hidayettin, and Siobhan Crawley.

On behalf of the Haringey Muslim Network, Wightman Road Mosque and our very happy and excited little ones; we would like to express our thanks and appreciation for your warm and welcoming visit to our centre and the presentation of certificates.

Believe me the children are all still on a high and most were saying can we do it again!  Everyone who attended the event took away a feeling of contentment; the teachers because their hard work paid off with them all qualifying.  The parents because they can see how the teaching methods has changed and that their children are benefiting from the outcome of the training.

Our thanks especially to Pascale and Angela who ensured that the necessary support for students was forthcoming week after week.  To Leon and all at HREC for enabling the Mosques to develop and growing from strength to strength and finally the council for their recognition of the importance of the work done by the network.  May our partnership grow and grow so that more in our community will benefit in the future.
