Welcome to NRCSE

Welcome to National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education.

The National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE) is a national strategic and support organisation for community-led supplementary schools and the wider supplementary education sector across England. We are a national champion for excellence, innovation and partnership in out of school settings. We campaign throughout England on behalf of supplementary schools and their students, tutors and leaders. We aim to raise the profile of providers of out of school education (language, core-curriculum support, culture/faith tuition) and their standards of teaching, learning and management.

What Supplementary Schools tell about us

I recommend all the supplementary schools to provide NRCSE training for their volunteers. This help schools to run their classes professionally, as well as giving teachers who have a degree in a field of Science, maths and English or other curriculum subjects to teach these subjects in supplementary schools, which might lead them later on to be a qualified teacher in mainstream schools.
