The NRCSE will take your school through eight recognised standards in education. The first step is to demonstrate a solid foundation of good governance and safe practice in line with Section 11 requirements. Supplementary schools must ensure that all the basic policies and procedures are up-to-date and in place to run safely and effectively. You must demonstrate good management practice before you can progress to the Quality Mark.
You can provide evidence of safe and effective management by completing the following:

- Guided self assessment, and
- A document check, (this can be done by your mentor or by uploading school management file for scrutiny by the NRCSE Quality Development Advice Team) and
To present your school for the NRCSE Quality Mark please complete the code of practice assessment and upload your management file and ask your mentor or other appropriate person to visit your classes and prepare a witness statement.
