Creative learning resources for supplementary schools
In partnership with the British Museum, the Museum of London has created a Discovery Box resource filled with interactive learning activities specifically designed for supplementary schools.
This free teacher training day will allow you to try out this new learning resource before it is made available for school hire. During the day you will visit a range of galleries and take part in drama, digital and art activities, all designed to support literacy and language learning and explore themes of culture and identity.
Book your place on this training to make the most of what museums have to offer; as an extension of the classroom to compliment your curriculum.
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
If you would like to book your free place please contact Emma Taylor, Supplementary Schools Programme Manager, etaylor@museumoflondon.org.uk or call 020 7814 5579 by Friday 10 February.
Please note that to allow as many schools to take part in this training as possible, places will be limited to three teachers per school. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
