Explaining what the teachers have achieved – 60 hours learning on top of day jobs, family, supplementary school at the weekend – and still found time to learn new skills.
Well done!
These are just some of the 49 teachers in Brent, Camden, Ealing, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster who took the Teaching Skills in Supplementary Schools or Effective Management Skills courses this academic year. Forty two of the teachers have achievedĀ Level 2 or 3 accreditation
Another 30 are doing the course this term and are all working hard to achieve Level 2 or Level 3 in their respective courses.
Many thanks to John Lyon’s Charity for providing some of the funding for this training and to all the supplementary schools for supporting their teachers and encouraging them to train.
Also to the right of this line up of achievement is Abdishakur Tarah, Complementary Schools and Community Languages Co-ordinator at Leicester agency, SDSA. Abdish came to receive certificates on behalf of 16 successful learners from supplementary schools in Leicester. Well done to them also, and we look forward to seeing photos of your award ceremony very soon.
