Quality assurance for supplementary schools
The NRCSE are happy to announce that we are hosting a networking event exploring the theme: Towards Creative Teaching and Learning.
The arts can play a distinctive role in helping children to create meaning and make sense of the world, providing them with the essential skills they need to succeed in life.
‘Towards Creative Teaching and Learning’ will focus on the role that arts and cultural learning play in transforming young people’s lives and how such interventions can support supplementary school’s teachers in adopting more creative approaches in their teaching.
The event will feature two keynotes speeches from: Artis Foundation who’s ‘mission is to transform lives through art’ and Tanzila Zamin motivational speaker and author.
Through presentations and interactive workshops, we will explore how arts and cultural learning can deepen pupil engagement, contributing to language learning, creativity, problem-solving and their confidence.
Delegates can enrich their knowledge of arts-based learning in their supplementary school and learn more about the practical tools and inspiration they need to support arts-based learning in their own school/classroom.
