Quality assurance for supplementary schools
Mondays 10th, 17th and 24th of June (1st of July for Level 3) at NRCSE office @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
The course is primarily designed for teachers and teaching assistants who need to support children with learning or behavioural difficulties/disabilities. It aims to give a general overview of the underlying reasons that can affect children’s performance and identify some specific special educational needs that you may encounter in the classroom. In group discussions and activities you will explore how to provide differentiated support for those children and know when to make referrals to other agencies.

Supplementary school teaching assistants/volunteers
Numbers: This course can facilitate a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 12 learners. Refreshments will be provided by NRCSE.
Book and make payment: The full cost for the Supporting Children with SEND in Supplementary Schools is £170 per learner. For schools in Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham we are able to subsidise the cost so we are asking for a contribution of only £35 per learner. This includes: course and student registration fee; tutor fee; assessment; international moderation; management and administration; Learners file and Resource file for each learner.
