Quality assurance for supplementary schools
Schools/Colleges and other examination centres have been asked by Ofqual to obtain spoken language statements for private entrants or their own entrants for languages they do not teach. A similar procedure now extends to evidence of the other three skills: reading, writing and listening. Alistair Drewery, MFL Subject Advisor will take us through the speaking endorsement criteria. This webinar will support community/supplementary school/private teachers to provide the spoken language statement and prepare evidence of achievement across all skills.

NRCSE has been working with examination boards, the Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), the British Council and the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on MFL to hold this webinar . There is firm commitment from all sectors that home/heritage language learners should not be disadvantaged by the cancellation of Summer 2021 exams in the way they were last year.
CLEx – the Community Language Examination Centre has been established to support entry by young people studying a home or heritage language. We are accepting entries for GCSE and A levels until 12/3/21
