Harrow Quality Recognition Meeting

Over December 2017, supplementary schools in Harrow completed the 3-day Good Management training and, with the support of Securing Success, have spent the spring term building portfolios of evidence of the teaching and learning that takes place in their organisations each week.

The first of the Harrow Quality Recognition Meetings will take place in June, as two supplementary schools present their portfolios of evidence for the NRCSE Quality Mark. The Educational expert taking part in the meeting on a pro bono basis is – Louise Browning, headteacher Norbury School.

5.45 – 6.45 : Louise Browning and Pascale Vassie (NRCSE) look at portfolios (the schools are not required to be there for this part but they need to hand in their portfolios that morning or, better still, the day before)

6.45-7.35 : schools present (10 mins presentation and 15 mins Q&A each)

7.35 -8pm : Louise and Pascale review the presentations and make decision re. Quality Mark
