Why is focus on quality assurance necessary and useful?
- Safeguarding and Good Management – the implementation of policies and procedures
- The Good Management Pack – who is it aimed at
- What are you already doing to ensure safe and effective practice?
- The NRCSE Quality Mark – a developmental tool
Learning outcomes:
- Get an overview of the whole 360° quality assurance process
- Gain an understanding of the proposed Safeguarding Code of Practice for Out-Of-School Settings
- Compiling a Good Management Pack
- What is a witness statement and who can write you one?
- Agree standards expected in management files
- Understand the portfolio of evidence requirements and how the dividers can help you.
- Begin compiling a portfolio of evidence for your supplementary school or other out-of-school setting
Once you have completed this session we can help you to arrange an observation visit from a Quality Development Mentor or other ‘appropriate person’.
