A few moments later they had an extra surprise, to win the national award too! Congratulations!
Azza Supplementary School’s winning project was the introduction of creative art into the teaching and learning of Arabic aimed especially at pupils in KS3 and KS4.
‘The creative art project will help boost pupils’ motivation and ensure commitment towards studying Arabic. In order to achieve the aims of the project we intend to:- write poetry
- darw abstract and free portraits
- make pottery influenced by Afro-Arab culture
- produce plays
- create Arab calligraphy
- visit museums and galleries.
Azza Supplementary School is a member of the Kensington & Chelsea Supplementary School Partnership which is part of Westway Trust.
