Quality assurance for supplementary schools

This very practical course will take you through the essentials of fundraising including:
– How to ensure your school is ‘fit for funding’
– Project development
– Evidencing need
– Outcomes and outputs – what they are and how to build them in from the start
– Which funders to apply to, funding criteria and deadlines
The course also helps you make the most of your Quality Framework Award as a demonstration of your effective planning and good practice.
All those attending this course will be given priority booking for a second day on 13 November 2015 when you will have the opportunity to bring your draft applications to Awards for All and/or Children in Need back for individual guidance and support.
Course tutor:
Claire Standring has worked in the voluntary and community sector as a teacher and a trainer for over twenty five years. She has also taught in schools and in further education. She started working with supplementary schools in London in 1995 and since then has trained supplementary schools in all aspects of managing and running their schools.
Claire is a qualified, experienced teacher. She holds the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). When she is not training for NRCSE Claire teaches English, literacy and parenting in West London. She is also a consultant with the Partnership of Supplementary Schools (Westway Development Trust) providing organisational development support on all aspects of running a successful supplementary school.
