Harrow supplementary schools – safe and effective

Nine supplementary schools in Harrow have been meeting since November to develop ‘Effective Management Skills’ and move their schools up to the next level of the Quality Framework Awards.

Senior tutor, Angela Bell, has been supporting the co-ordinators and management committee members of the nine schools to reassess their governance procedures and update policies ensuring a safe and effective learning environment is provided each week for children attending supplementary education classes in Harrow.

The schools all offer mother tongue/heritage language classes as well as cultural activities. Most also support their pupils in English and maths.
