The Education Studies subject team are involved in exploring educational issues and, where appropriate, professional practice.

We’ve been conducting a small study with the 78 supplementary school staff who have completed NRCSE accredited teaching or management training in 2014. Many thanks to the 15 learners who have already replied, and it’s not too late for others to answer the five short questions we sent out.

From your information we can see that 13 out of 15 have a degree level qualification, mostly in a field other than education. Most of you are interested in developing your teaching skills further and gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or other postgraduate qualification.
