Supplementary School Awards Evening

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Partnership of Supplementary Schools in the presences of the Worshipful the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea

and in recognition of the hard work and achievements of students, volunteers and teachers in supplementary schools working with support from Westway Trust

It has been a busy year and examples of the wider opportunities provided for students have included:

poetry workshops with seven of our supplementary schools led by Paul Lyalls, leading to the creation of book called, ‘This is me’ – the book will be launched on the evening.

For the 3rd year consecutively, 125 children participated in a 5 day residential to Hindleap Warren – Ashdown Forest. This is an outdoor activity centre which provides high quality outdoor education and personal development opportunities for children and young people.

Four of our supplementary schools received the new NRCSE Quality Mark in 2018 from the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education
